Job summary

Activate Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a remote, global role. This part-time position (20 hours/week) supports and gradually owns core finance operations for a fast-growing consumer brand. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, accounts payable, bill-pay, and monthly close with a US GAAP focus.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel/Sheets is required. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong English communication skills,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP for small businesses.
• Experience with QuickBooks and willingness to transition quickly.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience with bill-pay platforms or corporate card systems (Ramp, Brex, Bill.com).
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable including invoicing, collection, and aging follow-ups.
• Handle accounts payable and bill-pay, reconcile statements and update payments.
• Support monthly close and financial reporting; post journal entries and reconcile key accounts.
• Provide operational and data support, maintaining spreadsheets and data entry tasks.
