Job summary

RemoteVA seeks a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Collections Specialist for a remote role. You will manage bookkeeping, AR, and collections, using QuickBooks Online and Cin7 for inventory-related finance. Responsibilities include tracking invoices, pursuing overdue balances, and maintaining precise financial records with clear English communication.

Hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, and you will work independently in a remote environment with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Experience with accounts receivable and collections.
Strong knowledge of invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and customer accounts.
Experience using QuickBooks Online.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
Record and reconcile payments, invoices, and customer accounts.
Assist with accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely payments.
Review financial information and identify discrepancies or outstanding items.
Assist with monthly reconciliations and general bookkeeping tasks.
Coordinate information between Cin7 and QuickBooks Online where required.
