Blu Bookkeepers is seeking a Bookkeeper in the Philippines to handle the majority (approx. 80–85%) of recurring bookkeeping work for Australian clients.
This is an internal delivery role reporting to the Client Manager, with emphasis on clear documentation and timely client communication. You will reconcile bank transactions in Xero, manage payables/receivables, process journals and payroll, and prepare BASIAS workpapers, while keeping Karbon updated.
About the role
The Bookkeeper is responsible for completing the majority of the day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliation and compliance preparation work for an allocated group of Australian clients. The role is designed to take ownership of approximately 80–85% of the recurring bookkeeping work, ensuring files are accurate, complete and ready for Client Manager review. This is primarily an internal delivery role. The Bookkeeper works closely with other bookkeepers and reports to the Client Manager for day-to-day work. The Client Manager owns client communication, follows up client queries, reviews the work and prepares it for BAS Agent review and lodgement. The Bookkeeper is expected to raise questions early, document issues clearly and provide the Client Manager with everything needed to complete the review efficiently.
