Job summary

Penbrothers International is supporting a Canadian tax-law firm with a remote Call Centre Manager role that leads a small, high-touch outreach team targeting accountants across Canada (excl. Quebec).

The manager recruits, trains, coaches and oversees performance, ensuring professional, prescriptive calls that drive registrations for CPD programs. The role requires overnight shifts aligned to Canadian business hours, strong written and spoken English, and a track record of building and running a

Qualifications

• C1 or C2 English proficiency level; native-level spoken and written English with neutral accent.
• 3+ years managing an outbound team calling North American business prospects.
• Experience building a team from scratch: recruiting, scripting, coaching, and replacement as needed.
• Ability to run a team focused on metrics and outcomes with data-driven management.
• CRM and dialer proficiency; polished written English for follow-up emails.

Responsibilities

• Hire, screen and onboard the initial two callers with a staffing partner; supervise on unscripted calls.
• Develop and refine call guides and obstruction-handling with the Director; coach via reviews.
• Build and maintain call lists across Canada (excluding Quebec); log outcomes and manage recontacts.
• Set daily/weekly targets; oversee ramp-up; personally make calls when needed; send registration links and follow-up emails in polished English.
• Track dials, connects, conversations, registrations and attendance; report monthly to the Director; coordinate with Marketing Ops on dialer and CRM.
• Apply and enforce calling rules (CRTC, DNCL, CASL); represent the firm with courtesy, discretion and confidentiality.
