Job summary

Adaca is seeking a detail-oriented Audio/Visual Systems Drafting/Design Engineer with 1–4 years of AV drafting experience to join our project teams. You will craft detailed AV/IT diagrams, layouts and elevations, ensuring architectural integration and compliance with design criteria.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–4 years in AV technical drawing, drafting, or systems integration.
• AutoCAD advanced; Revit or D-Tools experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of AV hardware, signal distribution, and control systems.
• Diploma or certificate in electronics, drafting, or related field.
• AVIXA CTS certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Diligence and excellent work ethic; capable of team and independent work.
• Proven ability to communicate with project managers, sales and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update AV, IT, and automation system schematics and diagrams.
• Create logic diagrams for AV and control systems.
• Produce rack elevations, cabinet layouts, and floor plans.
• Develop installation details and equipment specifications.
• Incorporate architectural and HVAC requirements into drawings.
• Maintain shop drawings, as-built docs, and revision histories.
• Collaborate with project managers, pre‑sales, and field staff.
• Research AV hardware specs and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
