Job summary

VirtueStaff LLC is seeking a meticulous AutoCAD Specialist to bridge field data and drawing sets for commercial kitchens and high-end residential interiors. You will import Matterport point clouds via ReCap, draft 2D existing-conditions plans with equipment from KCL, and develop detailed construction docs and 3D models.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and KCL familiarity is required, along with a deep understanding of actual construction and spatial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Advanced, expert-level AutoCAD proficiency for 2D drafting and xRef management.
• Experience importing/manipulating point clouds with ReCap Pro or similar tools.
• Strong SketchUp 3D modeling and photorealistic rendering capabilities.
• KCL familiarity and ability to learn quickly if unfamiliar.
• Comfort working in shared cloud environments like Google Drive.
• Background in Architectural Drafting or Interior/Restaurant design.

Responsibilities

• Import, attach, and manage MatterPak point clouds in AutoCAD as external references.
• Trace walls, openings, sills, soffits, and structural columns using slice planes.
• Integrate Kitchen CAD Library blocks into floor plans.
• Create construction-ready drawings with electrical, lighting, plumbing, cabinetry and schedules.
• Develop precise cabinetry and millwork elevations.
• Build 3D spatial models and renderings in SketchUp.
• Review drawings to catch clearance and constructability issues before field.
