Job summary

Clark Outsourcing is seeking an AutoCAD Draftsman to support the preparation, revision, and maintenance of accurate 2D drawings. You will convert sketches, markups, and legacy documents into clean DWG files for internal or client use.

The ideal candidate has strong 2D CAD drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to work independently with marked-up sources, ensuring accuracy across revisions and drawing sets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2D CAD drafting including floor plans, elevations, framing, and utility layouts.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD layering, blocks, and title blocks.
• Experience converting markups, surveys, and PDFs into DWG files.
• Ability to work from marked-up or incomplete source materials with accuracy.
• Experience with architectural/engineering drawings and coordination with teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently convert sketches, redlines, surveys, and PDFs into accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare and revise floor plans, elevations, structural layouts, and utility plans.
• Execute redline revisions while maintaining consistency and document integrity.
• Convert legacy drawings to DWG and update existing CAD files.
• Ensure revisions are reflected in the latest drawing versions.
• Apply CAD standards, layering, dimensioning, and title block layouts.
• Utilize dynamic blocks to improve drafting efficiency and consistency.
• Communicate with architects/engineers for clarification and coordination.
