Job summary

24x7 Direct Pty Ltd, a firm established in 1999, is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join its remote team from the Philippines. You will work with four partners across individuals, corporates, trusts and SMSFs to deliver tax returns, financial statements and advisory services.

This full-time, work-from-home role requires a minimum of 3 years in Australian tax accounting, Xero proficiency, a bachelor's degree in accounting, and a disciplined, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within an Australian Tax Accounting firm or public practice accounting firm.
• Experience in Xero software is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA/IPA (is a plus) or equivalent certification is preferred, or candidates who are currently completing CPA/IPA certification will be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; BGL experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review financial statements, tax returns, ad hoc financial reports, as well as budgeting and forecasting for individuals, corporates, partnerships, trusts and SMSFs
• Preparation of BAS and quarterly reports
• Research and preparation of business and tax advice on transactions, investments and other business activities
• Conduct tax planning and research to identify tax-efficient strategies for clients.
