Job summary

RecruitGo seeks an Intermediate Australian Accountant with hands-on Australian tax, GST, and audit experience. You will work on client records, reconciliations, and financial reporting using Xero and Caseware.

The role is fully remote in the Philippines, offering a 40-hour work week and collaboration with a supportive team. Ideal candidates have 1+ year Australian accounting experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Australian accounting, tax, and audit experience.
• Basic understanding of Australian tax and GST.
• Proficient in Excel and cloud accounting (Xero).
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and compile client financial records in computerized systems.
• Balance and reconcile accounts; ensure accurate working papers.
• Prepare timesheets and assist in invoicing to clients.
• Support senior accountants with tax compliance and bookkeeping tasks.
• Attend weekly workflow meetings and ensure timely delivery of orders.
