Job summary

D2B, a Melbourne-based accounting and financial advisory firm, seeks a Full-Time Tax Accountant to handle Australian tax compliance for our client base. Training is provided, and the role includes company hardware and AU working hours.

Responsibilities include company/trust financials, CTR/ITR filings, SMSF compliance, and direct client engagement via phone and email with clear English communication. AEST hours apply; remote work from the Philippines is supported.

Qualifications

• Australian accounting and tax experience is essential.
• Strong English communication for client interactions.
• Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel; MYOB/QuickBooks a plus; familiarity with BGL 360 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end financials and tax returns for corporate entities and trusts.
• Prepare Individual Tax Returns with varied income streams.
• Prepare SMSF annual returns and related compliance reports.
• Communicate with Australian clients via phone/email to gather documents and resolve questions.
