Job summary

24x7 Direct Pty Ltd is seeking an organised Australian Accounts & Payroll Officer to manage payroll for field technicians, apprentices, and office staff, while overseeing daily accounts payable and receivable. This remote role is based from the Philippines, supporting the Australian operations.

You will interpret awards, run end-to-end payroll, manage superannuation and CoINVEST, and ensure accurate job costing, with experience in Xero/MYOB and simPRO as part of the core toolkit.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts & Payroll, preferably in trades.
• Strong ability to navigate awards and EBAs.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/fortnightly payroll for electricians, apprentices and admin staff.
• Interpret and apply the Electrical Award or EBAs with accurate overtime and allowances.
• Administer monthly superannuation tracking and CoINVEST contributions.
• Track and reconcile annual, sick leave and RDO accruals.
• Match and reconcile supplier invoices against POs; manage invoicing and debt collection.
• Audit timesheets and materials for project costing; perform bank reconciliations.
