Boomering is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our team remotely from the Philippines. The role focuses on preparing financial statements, managing ledgers, and supporting audits for our Australian operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of experience, with proficiency in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks. Collaboration and accuracy are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in an Australian Firm or company.
• Understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Manage general ledger entries and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and explain differences.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of tax laws and assist with lodgment.
• Provide mentorship to junior accountants and assist with reporting.
