Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking an AU Tax Accountant to support financial reporting and Australian tax compliance for clients. The role involves preparing tax returns, statements, and management accounts, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Candidates should have a business/commercial degree with accounting major and ideally be progressing towards CPA. Onsite work is required initially, transitioning to hybrid arrangements with remote work options.

Qualifications

• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major.
• Desirable CPA or equivalent.
• Commencement of CPA or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed.
• Prepare management accounts.
• Identify accounting issues.
• Apply basic Australian tax compliance procedures.
• Assist with Australian tax planning for clients.
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.
• Complete requisite regulatory forms.
• Meet lodgement dates and requirements.
