Job summary

Elephant Teams is seeking an AU Bookkeeper to support Australian clients from a remote Philippines-based role. You will manage end-to-end bookkeeping and payroll in Xero, maintain accurate financial records, and provide timely, compliant reporting. Strong English, 3+ years' experience, and Australian client exposure are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Fluent written and oral English.
• Australian client experience required.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting and qualification (CIMA/CMA/ACCA/CA)

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Bookkeeping: manage day-to-day and end-to-end bookkeeping using Xero; review client files and reconcile accounts.
• Payroll processing: handle Australian payroll in Xero with PAYG, Superannuation, and payroll tax.
• AR & AP processing: process invoices and bills in Xero; use Hubdoc/Dext for documentation.
• Client management: communicate with Australian clients, manage multiple accounts.
• Compliance & reporting: BAS and IAS prep; support financial reporting and standards.
