Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support mechanical and plumbing installation projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate with operations, sales, subcontractors, and utilities to ensure timelines, budgets, and compliance.

Key tasks include project administration, procurement, compliance documentation, and cross‑functional communication using Slack, Asana, BuildOps, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing complex projects and schedules.
• Preference for experience in a construction company with hands-on project involvement.
• Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and Google Apps; BuildOps, Slack or Asana experience is highly desirable.
• Preferred: 4-year degree in construction, engineering, mechanics, and/or project management.

Responsibilities

• Project Administration: summarize and maintain job folders, manage time tracking and hours, maintain project spreadsheets, and schedule weekly assignments.
• Finance & Procurement: process change orders and purchase orders, review supplier invoices, track invoicing status, assist procurement in purchasing equipment and subcontracted services, track inventory and replenishment stock.
• Compliance & Documentation: assist with DOB and utility paperwork, file ConEd cases, schedule inspections, submit rebate documentation, maintain subcontractor compliance records including certificates of insurance, scope of work, contacts, and agreements.
• Communication & Coordination: liaise between Sales, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Accounting; use Slack, Asana, BuildOps and other platforms to track updates.
