BizForce is seeking an experienced AR Collector - Orthopedic to manage outstanding insurance accounts and drive timely reimbursement for orthopedic physician and ASC services. The role emphasizes insurance follow-up, denial resolution, appeals, and claims research across Medicare, Medicaid, WC and commercial payers.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of medical billing experience, strong A/R and denial resolution skills, and familiarity with athenaNet or similar EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience.
• Experience with insurance A/R and denial resolution.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, WC and commercial claims.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims for orthopedic services.
• Research denials, underpayments and delays and resolve them.
• Prepare appeals and supporting docs for carriers.
• Respond to carrier inquiries and information requests.
• Manage A/R across Medicare, Medicaid, WC and commercial payers.
• Use athenaNet to identify and resolve accounts via dashboards and reports.
• Review claim history and status to determine next actions.
• Identify trends and recurring issues impacting revenue.
• Investigate root causes and communicate findings.
• Collaborate with CFO and other departments to resolve denied claims.
• Maintain documentation of collection activities and follow-ups.
• Prioritize accounts and meet deadlines; support billing process improvements.
