Job summary

BizForce is seeking an experienced A/R Specialist to support a dermatology practice’s revenue cycle from a remote location. You will manage outstanding accounts, address denials, submit appeals, and ensure timely charging and follow-up with payers and patients.

The ideal candidate has ModMed experience and strong ICD-10/CPT knowledge, with the ability to work during US hours and collaborate with third-party billing partners to drive timely reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Ability to read medical charts and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical claims before submission to identify errors.
• Submit claims electronically or by paper when required.
• Monitor and resolve claim rejections within 24 hours.
• Prepare CMS-1500 forms and supporting documentation when needed.
• Coordinate with Billing Specialist team on COB-related resubmissions.
• Follow up on unpaid and delinquent claims and document outcomes.
