Job summary

KIRA is seeking a Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of complex products and systems, raising the engineering bar across the team. This hands-on leadership role requires designing systems, writing and reviewing code, solving difficult problems, and guiding engineers through major initiatives from idea to production.

You will move between architecture and implementation, making strong technical decisions while staying close to code to execute when needed.

Qualifications

Proven track record in shipping production systems.
Experience with backend, frontend, APIs, databases or cloud infra.
Ability to design scalable, reliable architectures.
Willingness to stay hands-on while guiding teammates.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and execution of major products and initiatives.
Design scalable, reliable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, databases and infra.
Stay hands-on with coding, prototyping, code reviews and production problem-solving.
Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, reliability and maintainability.
Mentor engineers and strengthen technical capability across the team.
Identify risks and bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
Collaborate with product, design and AI teams to ship high-quality products quickly.
