Job summary

Simera is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support daily AR activities, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and record maintenance. You will reconcile accounts, prepare aging reports, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies in a remote-capable environment.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple invoices and deadlines with attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Strong data entry and numerical accuracy.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with financial data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Enter and update customer payments in accounting systems.
• Apply payments to correct customer accounts and invoices.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and payment due dates.
• Assist with reconciliations and account reviews.
• Investigate discrepancies and respond to inquiries about invoices.
• Maintain organized accounts receivable records and reports.
• Assist with collections on overdue accounts when required.
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
