Your Employee Offshore ( Yempo ) Inc. is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to oversee day-to-day accounting, tax and client management for our Sydney-based clients.

This remote role requires coordinating a small offshore team, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality records. You will lead workflows across bookkeeping, BAS/IAS, payroll and financial reporting, while upholding Australian tax requirements and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Australian bookkeeping, business services, and tax experience.
• CPA qualification (or substantially progressed) preferred.
• Strong Xero and payroll experience with practice management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow and job assignments using Karbon Notion, coordinating with the Director.
• Oversee preparation, review and delivery of client accounting and tax work.
• Review bookkeeping, BAS/IAS, payroll and tax compliance for client accounts.
