Job summary

Gordian Staffing seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee financials for a portfolio of residential communities and multifamily properties. You will mentor 2–3 staff accountants, review workpapers and ensure accuracy, while supporting audits and budgets.

This remote role requires 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel and English communication. Training and onboarding are provided, with a focus on compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

4+ years accounting experience, managing multiple clients or portfolios.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
Experience mentoring or reviewing junior accounting staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting activities for portfolio of properties (HOA and multifamily).
Prepare monthly financial workbooks and schedules.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly; post journals and adjustments.
Prepare preliminary financial statements and coordinate with Account Executives and Property Managers.
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments.
