Job summary

Aurecon Australasia Pty Ltd is seeking a Company Nurse in Manila to support health and safety initiatives. You will administer first aid, dispense medications, maintain medical records, and prepare DOLE reports related to workplace illnesses and injuries.

You will be part of the Occupational Health team, providing nursing care, organizing health programs, and coordinating with the OSH Committee to promote wellness and safety across the workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active PRC license are required.
• BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certification from OHNAP is required.
• Experience: 1–3 years in similar roles (Company Nurse or Occupational Health).
• Proficient in documentation and medical record management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency nursing care to employees.
• Dispense medication and manage medical records.
• Prepare DOLE and other regulatory reports on illnesses/injuries.
• Issue clearance to work after medical evaluation and certificates.
• Coordinate with OSH Committee and Safety Officers on health programs.

What will you do?

In this position you will play an integral part in a team of specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of projects - including significant infrastructure projects.

We have an immediate vacancy for a Company Nurse who will support our health and safety initiatives. Key responsibilities include administering first aid, dispensing medication, maintaining medical records, and preparing DOLE and other regulatory reports related to workplace illnesses and injuries.

Below are some of the things you will be doing to support “bringing ideas to life”

• Provide emergency treatment to all employees by giving first aid, checking vital signs and dispensing medicine.

• Provide nursing care to sick and injured employees.

  • Observe and records symptoms and conditions of employees. Reports to company Physician any employees that need medical attention

  • Accompany and transport employees to nearest medical service or hospital in case of accident or emergency

  • Notify emergency contacts for employees who needed emergency attention or was transferred to a medical facility.

  • Conducts hospital visits as required by Human Resource or the company physician

  • Ensures that all medical consultation, clinic visit, and other medical records are logged appropriately.

• Issues clearance to work for employees who got sick, after reviewing their diagnostic, medical and fit to work certificates.

• Member of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee – Work closely with Safety Officer and Health & Safety Lead in promoting Health, Safety and Wellness Program through health activities, counselling and seminars and health education.

• Prepare DOLE report on occupational illnesses/injuries and risk hours

• Work with People team regarding HMO enrolment processes. Assist in answering inquiries and concerns regarding HMO and other government health benefits.

• Organize Annual Physical Examination (APE) for employees

• Keep and maintain employee health records

• Assist Safety Officer in coordination with OSH DOLE inspection

• Handle clinical and other Ad Hoc needs

• Medicine supply management and issuance

• Assist on HMO and other medical reimbursement policies (if applicable)

• Work with safety officer in monitoring of staff overall health, safety, and wellness

• Support implementations on programs for prevention and control of COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Hepatitis B

• Ensure proper care and maintenance of clinic including all medical equipment.

What can you bring to the team?

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

• Active PRC Nursing License.

• Mandatory BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) Certification from OHNAP.

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Company Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse, Clinic Nurse, or a related role.

• Valid BLS and/or ACLS Certification.

• BIR-issued Service Invoice preferred.

• Knowledge of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and DOLE requirements.

• Experience in employee health programs, clinic operations, and medical record management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Mental Health First Aid certification is an advantage.
