Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced regulatory/compliance professional in Makati to act as a subject matter expert on regulatory reviews and to support projects for international clients. You will interpret regulations, lead project delivery, and review client documentation to ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with senior client management and contribute to business development while developing expertise across evolving regulatory frameworks,

Qualifications

• Strong regulatory knowledge of Financial Regulator rules and guidance procedures.
• Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in relevant roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory landscape for regulated financial institutions Ireland and internationally, incl. financial crime topics.
• Experience leading high-performing teams to deliver results.
• Understanding of current regulation; ability to develop a specialization in new areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills.
• Proven planning, project management, networking and influencing abilities.
• Third level qualification in related area; CAMS/ACOI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be a key team member on projects with multiple team members and client deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise on projects; act as SME on 2nd/3rd line of defence; deliver regulatory mandated review work.
• Interpret and implement regulations.
• Plan and manage projects, meet deadlines.
• Review client documentation relating to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with client senior management up to board level.
• Prepare detailed reports on deliverables and recommendations.
• Assist leadership in business development and proposals.
• Develop new business opportunities with Grant Thornton and other departments.
