Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a highly skilled regulatory professional to join a multidisciplinary team. You will provide technical regulatory expertise, act as a Subject Matter Expert on 2nd/3rd line of defence projects, and support regulatory mandated reviews for the Central Bank of Ireland or other authorities.

You will work with international offices and for international clients to interpret and implement regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of regulation and Financial Regulator rules and guidance procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver regulatory projects with accuracy and timeliness.
• Experience with financial crime risk topics and regulatory frameworks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be a key team member on projects with multiple team members and client deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise and act as Subject Matter Expert on defence projects and regulatory reviews for Irish authorities and international clients.
• Interpret and implement regulations and manage projects to meet deadlines.
• Review client documentation for regulatory compliance and liaise with senior management up to board level.
• Prepare detailed reports with deliverables and recommendations.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and cross‑department collaboration to win new work.
