Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a compliance-focused professional to support regulatory reviews and delivery for international clients. You will act as a subject matter expert on second/third line defence projects, interpret complex regulations, and lead cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.

The role involves planning, client documentation review, and contributing to business development while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

Regulatory knowledge and ability to interpret financial regulator rules.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant roles or industries.
Understanding of regulatory landscapes in Ireland and internationally.
Experience leading high-performing teams to deliver results.
Strong written and spoken communication and client focus.

Responsibilities

Be a key team member on projects with multiple team members and client deliverables.
Provide technical expertise on regulatory projects; act as SME on defence-related work.
Interpret and implement regulations relevant to the client.
Plan and manage projects, meeting deadlines.
Review client documentation for regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with client senior management, up to board level.
Prepare detailed reports on deliverables and recommendations.
Support business development and identify client needs and proposals.
Develop new business opportunities with other departments.
