Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a regulatory specialist to join our team, delivering expert input on 2nd and 3rd line of defence projects for financial regulators and international clients.

You will interpret and implement complex regulations, manage projects and deadlines, review client documentation, and collaborate with senior management up to board level. Experience in financial regulation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Regulatory knowledge and familiarity with Financial Regulator rules.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant regulatory roles.
• Understanding of regulatory landscape for financial institutions Ireland and globally.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and collaborating with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Be a key team member on projects with multiple team members and client deliverables.
• Provide technical regulatory expertise and act as SME on defence projects and regulatory reviews.
• Interpret and implement regulations and ensure timely project delivery.
• Review client documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management up to board-level directors.
• Prepare detailed reports with recommendations and support business development.
