Job summary

Alpha Aviation Group Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Registered Psychometrician to help identify candidates with the capability and potential to succeed in the Pilot Cadet Program.

You will evaluate cognitive abilities, personality, behavioral competencies, and overall suitability for pilot training. As part of the selection team, you will administer assessments, conduct structured interviews, and prepare reports to inform selection decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field and licensed psychometrician.
• 2–3 years of psychological assessment, recruitment or talent selection experience.
• Experience in aviation recruitment or high-stakes assessment is an advantage.
• Proficient in administering and interpreting psychometric and cognitive tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and psychometric assessments as part of the pilot cadet selection process.
• Administer, score, interpret, and document cognitive, aptitude, personality, and behavioral assessments.
• Conduct structured interviews and behavioural evaluations.
• Screen candidates against established program and selection criteria.
• Prepare clear and objective assessment reports, candidate profiles, and recommendations.
• Participate in selection panels and provide professional assessment insights.
• Work closely with training captains, assessors, airline representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and properly documented assessment records.
• Monitor assessment results and selection trends to support improvements in the selection process.
• Support candidate orientations and other activities throughout the student journey.

About the role

Your assessments will help inform one of the most important decisions in aviation: who has the potential to become a safe, capable, and future-ready pilot.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field.

• Registered and Licensed Psychometrician.

• 2-3 years of experience in psychological assessment, recruitment, talent selection, or a related field.

• Experience in aviation recruitment, pilot cadet selection, or high-stakes assessment is an advantage.

• Proficient in the administration and interpretation of psychometric and cognitive assessment tools.

• Strong analytical, interviewing, observation, and report-writing skills.

• Excellent judgment and attention to detail.

• Demonstrates professionalism, objectivity, ethics, and strict confidentiality.

• Able to evaluate candidates based on potential, capability, and behavioral fit-not credentials alone.
