Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis at Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems to support operations and ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency. The candidate will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning, conduct analyses, prepare drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (Registered Mechanical Engineer) is required or must be obtained.
• 0–1 year of related mechanical engineering design or maintenance experience is acceptable.
• Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design tools.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
• Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Philippine mechanical codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment per industry standards.
• Perform feasibility studies and technical analyses for projects.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD tools.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems and equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and perform routine assessments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and project teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to operations staff.
• Document equipment specs and record maintenance activities.
