Job summary

Developmental Disabilities Systems, Inc. through its Little Adventures ABA program seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities under BCBA supervision.

Sessions occur in homes, schools, and community settings as the program grows, with clinics coming soon. Responsibilities include implementing individualized ABA plans, delivering engaging therapy, teaching communication and daily living skills,

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through BACB or willingness to obtain it before hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver\'s license.
• Ability to travel to client locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Provide engaging, child-centered therapy sessions.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living, play, and daily-living skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based behavior-reduction strategies.
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately during each session.
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and team members.
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive therapeutic environment.

Work one-on-one with children with autism and other developmental disabilities at Little Adventures ABA, a program of DDSi — building meaningful skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention for children with autism and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within DDSi's Little Adventures ABA program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Experience in ABA or behavioral health.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.

Physical requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Assisting with client movement when necessary.
• Playing on the floor with children.
• Quick movement during behavioral or safety situations.
