Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and treatment updates.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school team meetings as needed.
  • Stay current with developments in ABA therapy and education-based interventions.

Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral support and intervention services in a school or educational setting. The BCBA will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans that enhance student learning, social skills, and overall educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students with behavioral and developmental needs.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) aligned with student goals and IEP objectives.
  • Provide direct consultation and support to teachers, classroom staff, and parents regarding behavior management strategies and interventions.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data on student behavior to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or paraprofessionals delivering behavioral interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special educators, school psychologists, and speech/language therapists.
  • Ensure all interventions are evidence-based and consistent with ABA best practices.
