Job summary

Skyro, a fast-growing fintech company in the Philippines, is seeking a Business Development Regional Officer (SME) to drive growth in the assigned region. You will acquire SME clients, build strategic partnerships, expand merchant networks, and meet revenue targets.

You will conduct product presentations and demos, manage relationships with SME owners, and collaborate with operations, credit, and marketing to support adoption and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in business development, SME banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in digital payments, lending, or financial products is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SME market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and onboard SME clients within the region.
• Drive adoption of fintech products such as digital payments, POS solutions, lending products, mobile wallets, payroll solutions, or other platforms.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with SME owners and key stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations, demos and consultative meetings.
• Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure product usage and retention.
• Collaborate with operations, credit, and tech support to resolve issues.
• Map industries and business clusters within the region.
• Provide feedback on market dynamics and product performance.
• Develop partnerships with associations, aggregators, distributors, and ecosystem players.
• Organize SME forums and networking events; coordinate regional campaigns.
• Monitor SME portfolio performance and assist with risk management.
• Maintain CRM pipelines and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Track KPIs such as client acquisition, revenue growth, and retention.
