Job summary

TigerUX is seeking an experienced Regional Purchasing/Procurement Manager in the Philippines to oversee supplier relations, pricing, and inventory across multiple sites. The role requires travel to stores, suppliers, and warehouses as needed and collaboration with Operations, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth supply.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in regional purchasing with 3 years in a managerial role within food retail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of regional purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management experience, preferably in a multi-site food retail environment.
• 3 years of managerial experience in a multi-site food retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, procurement planning, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional purchasing to ensure product availability, competitive pricing, and optimal inventory levels.
• Manage suppliers, including pricing, product quality, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
• Plan purchasing requirements based on demand, inventory levels, and sales trends.
• Monitor stock levels and turnover to minimize shortages, overstock, and losses.
• Review supplier invoices and resolve pricing, quantity, and billing discrepancies.
• Manage supplier returns, claims, shortages, damages, and quality concerns.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth supply.
• Analyze purchasing, inventory, pricing, and supplier performance and recommend improvements.
• Escalate significant supply, pricing, contractual, or supplier issues to management.
• Participate in regional management meetings and procurement initiatives.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Travel to stores, suppliers, warehouses, and other locations as required.

• Strong knowledge of supplier management, procurement planning, and inventory control.
• Experience in product quality evaluation and supplier coordination.
• Ability to manage inventory levels and optimize stock turnover across the region.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, cost management, and market trends.
• Experience in invoice verification and resolving billing discrepancies with suppliers.
• Ability to manage returns, claims, and supplier-related concerns efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in handling product, pricing, and supply issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify and elevate regional supply, pricing, or contract-related concerns.
• Experience in participating in cross-functional and regional management meetings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
• Must have experience in Large-scale Food Retail industry.
