Job summary

YOFC MÉXICO is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee FTTX projects, manage budgets and teams, and ensure on-time delivery across regions. You will collaborate with upper management and related departments to align scope and execution with strategic goals.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in telecom project management, strong PM and change management capabilities, and excellent English communication. Willingness to travel nationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunication engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in telecom project management.
• Strong project and change management background with English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the status of the project and ensure execution of the FTTX project scope.
• Manage personnel, budget, and resource allocation to meet targets.
• Coordinate with upper management and other departments to keep schedules on track.
• Lead subcontractors and project teams, monitor safety, progress, and issues.
• Support country-level project activities as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the status of the project;
• Accountable for the execution of the FTTX Project and Management of Personnel;
• Will work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project are on schedule as well as other departments for support;
• Creates value for clients independently- bringing excellent project and change management skills and past client experiences;
• Creates and Manage the projected budget and allocation of project resources;
• Project team management, to meet targets from higher management;
• Sub-contractor or team’s management, to manage the project progress, issues, safety, etc;
• Materials management, manage the project team to monitor the materials request and usage, lost, and returned, etc;
• Engineering, ROW submission progress and push for the approval;
• PAT, PAC, FAC milestone management, to push the progress to meet target;
• Other required activities include being the assistant project director/higher management of country projects, etc.

Job Requirement and Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in telecommunication engineering or related
• Extensive experience in telecom project management especially with OSP project management experience, handling strategic plans, annual business plans, and financials;
• Must have at least 3 years of work experience;
• Strong project and change management background;
• Could do travel in the national area;
• Willing to assign in different regions in the country;
• Good communication in English
