Job summary

RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a Regional Distributor Manager to oversee distributor performance within the Visayas region. You will build strong distributor relationships, optimize coverage, and drive strategies to meet volume, revenue, and distribution targets.

The role requires 8+ years of sales experience in FMCG, strong leadership, and the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of strong sales experience with a track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
• In-depth operational knowledge on distributor capability building and understanding of the retail landscape.
• Excellent people management skills, with the ability to hire, evaluate, develop and motivate subordinates.
• Ability to work smoothly in a cross functional team including finance, manufacturing and supply chain.
• Strong in execution and operations, communication skills and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional distributors.
• Monitor distributor performance (sell-in, sell-out, stock levels, etc.) and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Support distributor capability development, including sales team training, route planning, and resource management.
• Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
• Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to increase market penetration.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend actions.
• Ensure proper implementation of trade marketing programs and promotions.
• Monitor inventory and logistics to prevent out-of-stock or overstock situations.
• Conduct regular field visits to check on distribution coverage and execution at the retail level.
• Work closely with marketing, finance, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive operations.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to management.
• Coach and support distributor sales teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
