Job summary

Ashbrittle seeks a Regional Director to lead strategic and operational performance across Asia. You will work with the MD and regional managers in Singapore and S. Korea to execute growth while ensuring financial performance and customer satisfaction.

You will manage a diverse team across markets, drive efficiency, and build long-term client relationships. This role requires senior leadership with cross-border experience in engineering, construction or industrial services.

About the role

As Regional Director, you will have full responsibility for the strategic and operational performance of the organisation across Asia. Working closely with the Managing Director and Regional Managers in Singapore and S. Korea, you will develop and execute the regional growth strategy while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. You will lead a diverse team across multiple markets, developing the organisation's capabilities while identifying new opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic business plan

• Deliver sustainable revenue and EBITDA growth across the region, whilst paying close attention to cash conversion

• Lead and inspire high-performing commercial, technical and operational teams

• Work with other regional heads to share best practice, ideas and resources

• Line Management responsibilities for Regional Managers and Administration Staff

• Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships and strategic customers

• Build long-term relationships with key clients, developers, contractors and industry stakeholders, while maintaining and expanding those already in place

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to their high quality standards

• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all business functions, including the development and installation of systems and programmes to enhance reporting and accuracy

• Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and profitability

About you

• Experienced senior executive with a proven record of leading and growing engineering, construction or industrial services businesses within Asia

• Strong customer relationship and business development skills

• Significant senior leadership experience, ideally as a Managing Director, General Manager or Regional Director

• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in delivering profitable business growth

• Experience managing multi-country operations within Asia

• Experience of reporting to a board of directors

• Good knowledge of either or a mix of the construction, logistics, materials handling and robotics markets in Asia

• Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities

• Strong financial and operational management skills

• Outstanding leadership, communication and influencing abilities
