Job summary

World Vision International seeks a Climate Adaptation Specialist to provide strategic and technical support to National Offices in the South Asia Pacific region. You will help strengthen environmental stewardship and resilience of vulnerable communities, aligning with global commitments and WV’s Our Promise 2030.

Qualifications

7+ years multi-country experience in Climate Adaptation program development.
Experience with UN system, donors, academia and research bodies preferred.
Master’s degree or higher in Forestry, Environment, Climate Change or related field.
Certifications: NEAT+, CEDRIG, SOLSTICE; familiarity with ECHO Environmental Requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical support to World Vision’s National Offices in SAP region.
Develop a regional Environment and Climate Change action plan.
Lead partnerships, funding proposals, and policy influence activities.
Coordinate regional engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
