Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the regional finance function across Singapore and Indonesia, with deep involvement in close and reporting. This role reports to the Corporate Controller and acts as the deputy, driving policy, controls, and multi-entity operations.

You will oversee month-end close, consolidations, and IFRS/PSAK compliance, coordinate with tax authorities, and mentor a regional finance team to support rapid growth and accurate financial insights for the Board.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of senior accounting or controllership experience.
• Proven ability to manage multi-entity operations across SE Asia markets.
• Strong IFRS experience and knowledge of local GAAP (SFRS/PSAK).
• Hands-on in month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and transfer pricing.
• Ability to lead teams and implement internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Deputy leadership: Design, implement, and enhance accounting policies across regional entities.
• Oversee the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close for Singapore and Indonesia with multi-currency consolidations.
• Maintain policies to ensure IFRS and PSAK compliance at scale.
• Coordinate with local statutory requirements through the Corporate Secretary and local teams.
• Lead intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing documentation with external consultants.
• Track and allocate expenses across regional entities, aligning with intercompany agreements.
• Stay updated on local tax laws and IFRS changes.
• Drive positions on high-judgment items and prepare for new pronouncements.
• Protect assets with internal controls and oversee chart of accounts realignment.
• Manage GL, consolidations, and regional financial transaction teams; support FP&A on Budgets vs Actuals.
