Job summary

Agoda Company Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Area Manager/Senior Area Manager for the Philippines. You will lead the regional team of account managers, shape market strategy, and drive growth in Agoda’s footprint through strategic partnerships and market insights.

The role requires a track record of leadership in travel/e-commerce, excellent data skills, and the ability to motivate teams to deliver best-in-class supply and partnerships. Based in Metro Manila with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent degree required.
• MBA is a plus.
• 5-10 years' experience in Sales in a fast-growing globally operating travel/e-commerce company.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience leading successful teams in e-commerce or travel industry roles.
• Excellent Excel and data visualization skills.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as team lead of the region in the Philippines.
• Develop and execute regional strategy to increase Agoda footprint.
• Coordinate with senior management on strategic planning and objectives.
• Conduct market research to keep Agoda competitive in the region.
• Represent Agoda at relevant events to promote the brand and products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hotels, technology partners and other stakeholders.
• Lead and coach a high performing regional team.
