Agoda Philippines is seeking an Area Manager/Senior Area Manager to lead the regional team and drive growth across the Philippines. You will shape regional strategy, motivate and coach a growing team, and build profitable partnerships with hotels and technology partners.

You will work with senior leadership to expand Agoda’s footprint, conduct market analyses, and ensure best-in-class supply and pricing. A proven leader who can translate data into decisive actions will excel here.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in Sales in a fast-growing globally operating travel/e-commerce company.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience leading successful teams in e-commerce or travel industry roles.
• Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to report to senior management.
• Ability to communicate value proposition and persuade partners.
• Professional get-it-done attitude and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team lead of the region.
• Help build a strategy to significantly increase Agoda footprint in the region.
• Coordinate with senior management on strategic planning and objectives.
• Conduct market research into industry trends to ensure competitive products.
• Represent Agoda at tradeshows, workshops and events to promote the brand.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at hotels and partners.
• Lead a team of market managers in managing successful hotel partnerships.
• Support partner visits according to internal goals and targets.
• Develop tools and processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Implement strategies and promotions to maintain competitive advantage.
• Develop a High Performing team and assist recruitment and coaching.
