Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Manila is seeking a Reference Data Services Intmd Analyst to grow as a developing professional and contribute to data integrity across systems.

You will work with multiple teams to ensure regulatory and control standards are applied to client and product data, while handling escalation of issues and participating in key projects. The role emphasizes attention to detail, professional judgment, and collaboration with global partners to support the bank’s core reference data

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain customer sub-accounts or product pricing setups across systems and actively ensure data details and settlement instructions stay up to date.
• Liaises with other operational teams globally to ensure a globally consistent model is followed with respect to this critical reference data.
• Ensures that statutory and regulatory obligations are met when new client relationships with clients product/pricing sets are established.
• Verifies all details of the client/product from a regulatory and control perspective for Institutional Client Accounts.
• Serves as escalation point for issues and complex processing.
• Involved in key projects for unit.
• Delivers daily project work and escalation management, routine and defined tasks, while developing knowledge of the broader context in which work is being performed.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with laws and regulations.

The Reference Data Services Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
