Job summary

Citi is seeking a Reference Data Services Analyst 2 in the Philippines to manage end-to-end processing, validation, and archiving of complex legal agreements, including derivatives and securities financing contracts. You will collaborate with internal Legal, Credit Risk, and Middle Office teams to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in financial reference data management or high-precision data quality roles.
• Ability to maintain data accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving to translate complex docs into database parameters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to master proprietary platforms.
• Capable of working independently with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify bilateral trading documentation including ISDA Master Agreements.
• Perform high-precision data entry and validation in contract systems.
• Identify discrepancies, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as primary operational contact for Legal, Credit Risk, and Middle Office.
• Digitize, index, and archive executed agreements per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in automating workflows and strengthening control frameworks.
• Act as backup for manager.
• Provide direction to team and identify training needs.
• Manage project initiatives and supervise junior staff.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance and ethical conduct.
