Job summary

CITADEL Pacific Ltd. (CPL) is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead end-to-end Record to Report activities for CPL entities in the Philippines and beyond.

You will oversee general accounting, costing, inventory valuation, statutory reporting, and process improvements while guiding a remote team and partnering with ICT to implement best-in-class solutions. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and a proven ability to drive change in a complex finance organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a four-year degree in accounting or business.
• 5+ years experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Record to Report and Order to Cash processes.
• Experience leading change and remote staff management.
• Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage statutory and corporate reporting.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to build credibility with internal/external customers.
• Strong costing and inventory accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end General Accounting and variance analysis.
• Ensure integrity of Balance Sheet and P&L for CPL entities.
• Provide timely, accurate R2R services including statutory reporting.
• Determine and account for cost of sales and product pricing.
• Manage inventory accounting and valuation; analyze variances.
• Prepare cost statements and variance reports for stakeholders.
• Support R2R process execution and drive efficiency.
• Lead finance transformation and shared services initiatives.
• Design and deliver R2R strategy and performance outcomes.
• Drive process change with OPCOS owners and ICT partners.
• Lead the team in the absence of the Team Lead.
• Accountable for Corporate/Local Closings, GL reconciliations, entries.
• COA master data management; accruals and provisions accounting.
• Oversee statutory and corporate reporting.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Employee will:

• Responsible in handling end to end General Accounting, Sub ledger, Bank/Balance sheet reconciliation, fixedassets, journal entries and variance analysis.
• Ensure the integrity of Balance Sheet and P&L for multiple organizational entities of Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL)
• Provide timely, accurate and compliant record to report services including statutory reporting in accordancewith local IFRS principles.
• Ensure that cost of sales and sales for all the products are determined and accounted
• Inventory accounting, valuation (including raw-material, WIP, scrap and finished goods) arriving the standardcost, purchase price variance, usage variance and other costing techniques.
• Preparation and analyzing of cost statements, price variance, usage variance, and reports to stakeholders.
• Manage execution of responsible R2R process areas and ensures the process operates efficiently andeffectively.
• Support the transformation of the Finance Organization from a local based financial & accounting servicesorganization Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL) new financial organization with Enterprise lead activities and a sharedservices network.
• Responsible for the design, development and delivery of the Record toReport strategy and process performance outcomes for the CPL organization.
• Help deliver change management at a process level through direct authority for process design, engagement with the OPCOS process owners and working with ICT functions to deliver the optimal technology solutions.
• Leads the team in the absence of the Team Lead
• The processes initially accountable for:
• a. Corporate and Local Closing Processes
• b. General Ledger Account Reconciliations and Analysis
• c. Journal Entry Processing
• d. Chart of Accounts Master Data Management
• e. Accounting for accruals and provisions
• f. Statutory and Corporate Reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:

• Graduate of a four year course, preferably accountancy or
  business related
• 5 years + experience in account receivables, customer
  Service, finance , commercial, sales ,marketing or inanother related role
• Excellent understanding of the business, ideally with anin-depth knowledge of customer service operation /commercial / sales support/ billing and Record to Reportprocesses
• Experience in leading change successfully required
• Excellent leadership skills especially in area of remote
  staff management.
• Excellent negotiation skills- at highest level (capableofrepresenting business in major customer negotiation/complex payment / allocation issues
• Broad Accounting / Credit management knowledge
• Strong influence and impact towards the team
