Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Record to Report Specialist to join the Meycauayan, Bulacan team. You will support period-end close, ensure reconciliations, and drive process improvements within Nestlé Business Solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting.
• Prior experience in Accounting/Finance, particularly Financial Reporting.
• 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in variance analysis and financial performance reporting.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools, with a focus on delivering actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data clearly.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Decision Support Financial Services and AO activities in scope for Nestlé Business Services according to KPIs.
• Drive best practices and internal controls for close processes.
• Propose change initiatives to improve efficiency of operations.
• Ensure reconciliations and Period End Close steps are performed accurately and on time.
• Prepare Magnitude Schedules in-scope per NAS/NIBS.
• Ensure NAS/NIBS compliance and review closing booklet for assigned company codes.
• Coordinate workstream reviews and MOR to resolve open items.

A day in the life of...

Execute all Decision Support Financial Services and Accounting Operations (AO) activities in scope for Nestlé Business Services (NBS) in a timely manner and according to the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Drives towards excellence in the Decision Support Financial Services and Accounting Operations (AO) by ensuring best practices are implemented and business/internal controls are in place. Propose change initiatives to ensure the efficiency of the operations Ensure reconciliations and Period End Close (PEC) steps are performed accurately and on time, identification and follow-up of open items in all assigned balance sheet accounts is in placeEnsure Magnitude Schedules in-scope are prepared on-time, accurately and according to the latest NAS and NIBS.Ensure financial accuracy of accounts through Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet Standards (NIBS) & Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) compliance. Responsible for the review and sign-off of the closing booklet for assigned company codes. Drive and coordinate workstream reviews, and co-facilitate MOR to ensure timely resolution of open items.
