Overview
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. They are responsible for providing professional and courteous front-desk service, managing phone calls, and supporting general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff or meeting rooms.
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
- Provide basic information about the organization to clients or customers.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and reorder as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, especially in handling confidential information.
Qualifications
- College Graduate
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
