LCC - Liberty Commercial Center Inc. is seeking a reliable Receiving Supervisor to oversee supermarket receiving operations. You will manage incoming shipments, ensure accuracy in quantity and documentation, and supervise a small team to keep shelves stocked and organized.
Responsibilities include supervising receiving staff, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with vendors and drivers, and enforcing FIFO for perishable goods. Strong Excel and inventory software familiarity is preferred.
We are hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Supervisor to oversee the delivery and receiving operations of our supermarket. You will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quantity, maintaining inventory records, and supervising a team of receiving staff. This role is essential in keeping the store stocked, organized, and running efficiently.
Supervise and coordinate the receiving of goods and supplies from vendors and distribution centers.
Inspect and verify all incoming shipments for accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
Ensure all goods are properly labeled, sorted, and stored in designated areas.
Maintain clear and accurate receiving records, including delivery receipts and inventory logs.
Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and department teams to resolve discrepancies.
Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and proper rotation of perishable goods.
Supervise receiving staff and provide training on standard procedures and safety protocols.
Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the receiving and storage areas.
Use inventory systems or ERP software to track stock movements and input data.
Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to management and suppliers.
Coordinate with delivery drivers and schedule unloading times to avoid congestion.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or store logistics; supermarket experience is an advantage.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory procedures and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with POS or inventory software.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, move, and handle products as needed.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
