About the role
As a Senior Warehouse Supervisor / Coordinator, you will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of goods. You will ensure accurate inventory control through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and proper documentation while supervising warehouse personnel and enforcing safety and operational standards. You will also coordinate with PICKUP COFFEE stores, internal departments, and third-party logistics (3PL) or warehousing providers to ensure timely fulfillment of supply requirements and delivery schedules. Through effective communication, coordination, and teamwork, you will help maintain operational efficiency and smooth supply chain performance.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee Warehouse Operations – Manage the receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatching, and shipping of goods.
- Manage Inventory and Stock Control – Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations, monitor stock levels and discrepancies, and ensure proper labeling, storage, and stock rotation using FIFO or other required methods.
- Coordinate with Stores and Internal Customers – Communicate with Store Supervisors, Area Managers, and other departments to ensure proper order fulfillment, dispatch, replenishment, and timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with Third-Party Logistics and Warehousing Providers – Maintain effective communication with 3PL providers, outsourced warehouses, carriers, and other service providers. Ensure accurate inventory transfers, stock reconciliation, shipment coordination, and compliance with agreed quality and service standards.
- Plan Logistics and Shipment Schedules – Schedule inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate deliveries and collections with carriers and 3PL providers, and ensure timely dispatch and replenishment of supplies to stores and other clients.
- Documentation and Reporting – Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, receipts, shipments, transfers, and other warehouse activities, including transactions involving third-party providers. Prepare inventory, warehouse performance, and 3PL performance reports as required.
- Supervise Warehouse Personnel – Assign tasks, monitor productivity, provide guidance, and ensure team members follow established warehouse procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance – Implement and monitor compliance with warehouse safety, housekeeping, quality, and operational standards.
About you
- High school diploma or equivalent; college-level education is an advantage.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or picking is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, when applicable.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Basic mathematical, reading, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management or scanning systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Computer literate.
- Working knowledge and understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.
