Job summary

LCC - Liberty Commercial Center Inc. is hiring a reliable Receiving Supervisor to oversee the supermarket's delivery and receiving operations. You will supervise a team, verify shipments, maintain records, and support store efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field, 1–2 years in receiving or warehouse roles, supervisory experience, and strong Excel/POS knowledge. Strong organization and communication are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (preferred).
1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or store logistics; supermarket experience is an advantage.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory procedures and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with POS or inventory software.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move products as needed.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise receiving of goods from vendors and distribution centers.
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
Ensure goods are labeled, sorted, and stored in designated areas.
Maintain accurate receiving records and inventory logs.
Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and department teams to resolve discrepancies.
Enforce FIFO and rotation of perishable items.
Supervise receiving staff and provide training on procedures and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of receiving and storage areas.
Use ERP or inventory systems to track stock movements.
Report damaged or missing items to management and suppliers.
Coordinate with drivers and schedule unloading times to prevent congestion.
