Job summary
Nasdaq is seeking a Platform Operations Specialist in Manila to ensure reliability and performance of trading systems. You will monitor production in real time, support market operations, and collaborate with clients and engineers on scalable solutions.
The role requires flexibility for a non-standard workweek, including US Eastern Time night shifts, and offers hybrid work with at least 2 days in-office in Manila.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical operations or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Clear communicator with ability to work under pressure.
- Works in a 24x7 operation with US Eastern Time night shifts in Manila.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems in real time and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and performance.
- Support daily market operations, including startup/shutdown, updates, and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with clients, providers, and internal teams to resolve connectivity and technical issues.
- Maintain and improve operational documentation and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Partner with engineering to address operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
