Job summary

Nasdaq, Inc. in Manila is seeking a Platform Operations Specialist to ensure reliability of Nasdaq's trading systems and market operations. You will monitor production, support operations, and work with clients and internal teams to resolve issues.

The role requires 3+ years in technical ops, strong Linux and networking skills, and the ability to work a non-standard U.S. Eastern Time night shift (9/10PM-6AM Manila). Hybrid work is offered with in-office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in technical or market operations.
• 3+ years of experience in technical operations, system administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, including administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, load balancing).
• Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills for fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production systems in real time, proactively identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and performance.
• Support daily market operations, including system startup/shutdown, updates, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with clients, external providers, and internal teams to resolve connectivity and technical issues quickly.
• Maintain and improve operational documentation and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering teams to address operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
