Job summary

Colliers in Manila seeks a valuation professional to support the Valuation team with property inspections, market research, data preparation and report writing.

You will perform on-site field work, organize databases, and present valuation conclusions to clients and stakeholders while engaging in regular client communications.

Qualifications

• Institutional degree in engineering or business discipline.
• Licensed professional real estate designation is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare valuation reports with property inspections and data gathering.
• Conduct on-site market research and desktop analysis.
• Maintain internal databases and respond to client queries.
• Present valuation conclusions to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with valuers and field teams during engagements.

Job Description

• Support the Valuation team in preparing valuation reports for clients, which include:
  • o Physical inspection of the property subject to valuation
  • o On-site market research, and desktop research
  • o Preparing market data, and conducting analysis to come up with value indications
  • o Writing valuation reports
  • o Discussing and presenting the valuation process and the value conclusion to clients, and other interested parties
• Gather information on real estate listings and transactions
• Organize and maintain databases for internal use
• Conduct market interviews, qualitative and quantitative research when needed, including regular field work
• Respond to queries of valuers and clients regarding the listings and transactions

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical), Real Estate Management, or business (Finance, Management) courses
• At least five (5) years of industry experience is required
• Must be a licensed Real Estate Appraiser / Registered Mechanical Engineer
• Proficiency in income approaches to valuation is an advantage
• Licensed Real Estate Broker and/or licensed Real Estate Consultant is an advantage
• AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office applications particularly in Word / Excel / PowerPoint
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
